Dr. Vid Jindal
| Dr. Vid Jindal is a graduate of Palmer
West College of Chiropractic.
Upon graduation; he received the prestigious Clinical Excellence Award
for outstanding patient care. He understands how acute and chronic
injuries can be alleviated in your daily life and in athletic settings.
Dr. Jindal uses a variety of advanced soft tissue techniques, ART, Graston, HMT, as well as Kinesiotaping to help evaluate patient issues as a whole and prescribe effective rehabilitation and supportive treatments. He is training as a Certified Personal Trainer under the National Academy of Sports Medicine and uses their biomechanical based model to help identify the patient's problem and correct the issue with exercises to prevent the pain from returning. Dr. Jindal also uses Spinal Decompression Therapy to help those with disk related injuries. His progressive and gentle approach to the treatment of disks is based on corrective scar tissue removal and proper rehabilitation. Decompression Therapy without the combination of rehabilitation, scar tissue removal and nerve entrapment work will never fully alleviate the pain. "With proper structural alignment and thus muscle balance around the body we can effectively remove the scar tissue then rehabilitate the body to its optimum level." Scar Tissue or Adhesions are the leading cause of many overuse conditions/repetitive strain complaints. Many patients present with pain in areas that have tight and very tender trigger points around the muscles. Rehabilitating and stretching do help, but when the bones of the spine, arm, leg, wrist, shoulder, foot, knee etc are not aligned properly they add to the continual imbalance and thus the injury never completely resolves. Picture the body in balance and the muscles free of tension, now you have a system that is ready to be conditioned to prevent harm and thus enhance the body's performance. Dr. Jindal is a Canadian (from Edmonton, Alberta) who came to California to purse his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Prior to entering school he was a competitive runner and specialized in cross-country, track (1500m 3000m), and 10K road races. As a runner he experienced many injuries that left him constantly training and racing in pain. With years of physical therapy which helped, but never alleviated the issues he still managed to compete. Eventually he came to learn about Sports Chiropractic and how it aligned the bones and aided the physical therapy work. After regular treatments his shin splints, plantar fascitis, meniscus knee pain, soon resolved. His active pastimes include: downhill ski racing, mountain biking, climbing, volleyball, and golf. |
